Schroeder’s was founded in 1962 as a farm market that sold our family's potatoes. Today, the family farm grows over 2000 acres of seed potatoes in central Wisconsin. Over the years the assortment of products the farm market carries has increased and we have evolved into the two stores that exist today. Although we do not call ourselves a farm market anymore, we do still sell Wisconsin potatoes and Wisconsin maple syrup.
Schroeder’s Gifts stands on the south side of Antigo, WI, on Hwy 45 in the beautiful north woods of Wisconsin. We pride ourselves in our ability to have something for everyone. We provide gifts for all occasions, home accents, gourmet food, gift boxes and baskets, clothing, jewelry, purses, bath and body lines by Crabtree and Evelyn, Burt's Bees, Upper Canada, The Thymes, & baby gifts. We also carry beautiful collectible angels by Willow Tree & CROCS for kids and adults!
In our clothing boutique we carry Fresh Produce Sportswear, Life is Good, Woolrich, Kenzie, Gear for Sports, Horny Toad, and Karen Kane. Our selection of accessories is amazing. It includes funky purses, jewelry, sandals, shoes and boots from Merrell and Minnetonka, and many other unique items. Our food and wine department features homemade Wisconsin maple syrup, Wisconsin wines from Woodland Trails Winery in Lakewood, Three Lakes Winery, Wollersheim, and other fine wines from around the world. We are known for our wonderful gift boxes and baskets full of Wisconsin products that can be shipped anywhere. We also have a wonderful selection of Wisconsin cheeses, including Sartori cheese (formerly Antigo Cheese).
At Schroeder’s we love candles! An entire room of our store is devoted to Yankee and Woodwicks candles, diffusers, and accessories. Tart burners, scent diffusers, and candle warmers are an excellent product for those who don't actually want to light a candle but enjoy the inviting smells. Diffusers and home fragrance oils are the hot trend!
Just across the parking lot is our second store, Schroeder's North. We carry many beautiful Christmas lines and decorator trees, but we are not all about Christmas. Northwoods decor is featured with home accents for your cottage or home. "Bearfoots," by Big Sky Carvers is an adorable collection of frolicking bears.
Our Baby Boutique is filled with lovable plush from Gund, Children's Crocs, and clothing by Life is Good. We have a great selection of gifts for the new baby!
